MaxLex uses AES-256-GCM field-level encryption — every sensitive field (SSNs, bank accounts, signatures, client messages, contact details) is individually encrypted with a unique initialization vector before it reaches the database. Data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3. Every user's data is completely isolated — no attorney can ever access another's files. We never train AI models on your data, and our infrastructure is built with SOC 2-aligned security architecture. Your client confidentiality is our highest priority.
Every document, case note, and client communication is automatically scrubbed of personally identifiable information before it reaches any AI model. Our PII Shield© technology replaces names, addresses, Social Security numbers, phone numbers, emails, and account numbers with anonymous placeholders. The AI processes only the sanitized version — then MaxLex restores the original details in your results. Your client's identity is never exposed to any third-party AI system, period.
Yes. MaxLex supports CSV import for cases, contacts, time entries, and invoices. Import guides are available in your onboarding flow to help you get started quickly.

The founding member rate of $149/mo is available through December 31, 2026. After that date, the price for all new members increases to $299/mo. If you sign up before the deadline, your $149/mo rate is locked in permanently — it will never increase as long as your subscription is active. This is our way of rewarding early adopters who believe in what we're building.
You own your data — always. Before cancellation, you can export everything (cases, contacts, time entries, invoices, documents) as CSV files. After cancellation, we retain your data for 90 days in case you want to return, then permanently delete it.
